Diabetic Association Medical College is affiliated with the University of Dhaka. Started its journey on the 15th November 2009 and opened its doors to the students in the academic year 2009-2010. Faridpur Diabetic Association is the 2nd member of the International Diabetes Federation in Bangladesh, Since 2009. This Medical College affiliated with the University of Dhaka is recognized by the Bangladesh Medical & Dental Council (BM&DC). Approved by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare.
The college takes the courses’ curriculum of the MBBS course as laid by Dhaka University and Bangladesh Medical and Dental Council. The government of Bangladesh regulates the criteria of admission. In the 1st-year MBBS course and Dhaka University conducts the professional examinations and awards certificates of MBBS degree.
COURSE OFFERED
The Medical College offers a 5-year MBBS Course as approved by the Bangladesh Medical & Dental Council (BM&DC). Leading to an MBBS degree from the University of Dhaka.
ELIGIBILITY
Higher Secondary Certificate (H.S.C) or equivalent degree from Science group with Biology. Students must qualify for the MBBS admission test conducted by the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).
SELECTION
Eligible candidates need to apply in the prescribed form available on the Principal’s Office of (D.A.M.C). The merit positions of all applicants will prepare and the top-listed candidates will be selected. Full merit list will be hung on the Notice board to our college website and published in the national daily newspapers.

Students and graduates of this medical college are eligible to apply to ECFMG (Educational Commission for Foreign Medical Graduates) for ECFMG certification in the USA.
