• Candidates will also be required to submit a passport size photograph not older than 6 months (photographs must not be scanned), bank statements of the past six months along with the signature and stamp of the bank officer.
• It is of utmost importance that all student visa applicants have a valid passport issued by the government of India at least 6 months beyond the commencement of the program in the Philippines. Apart from this, the candidates must also have data and amendment pages of their passport.
• Apart from this, candidates will have to present a Medical Health Certificate provided by an authorized physician along with a chest x-ray.
• Candidates will also to pay the visa application fee as per the schedule. The visa-processing fee will have to be paid in the form of demand draft issued by any bank in India that has a branch in New Delhi payable to “Embassy of the Philippines”. Cash payments are not accepted for Philippines student visas.
• Applicants may have to make a personal appearance while applying for student visa.

 Note: Foreign nationals below 18 years of age or those who are taking non-degree courses will not be issued student visa of Philippines. Instead, they will be given a Special Study Permit (SSP) that is classified as temporary visitor’s visa.

Applicants who are planning to pursue courses offered by universities in Philippines must ensure that they have submitted the visa application and documents at least two weeks prior to the scheduled departure to the Philippines.

Once the applicant has submitted the application for visa, the Philippine Department of Foreign Affairs processes the applicant’s form and documents. If everything is in order, the authority to issue student visa is given by the Department to the Philippines Embassy.

Deadlines for application for MD / MBBS in Philippines
