Ad-din Foundation was established in 1980 with the aim of assisting the underprivileged majority in Bangladesh. Its first project was building an orphanage in Jessore. During it’s three decades of development, Ad-din has expanded its existence with diverse projects in several parts of Bangladesh.

The Medical College has been continually striving for excellence in the field of Medical Education. It is in the process of shaping young minds to become future leaders in Health Services, Medical education and Public Health. The educational strategy is to create a conducive learning environment and guide students to acquire the appropriate knowledge, skills and temperament to practice medicine and be a member of the multidisciplinary health care tea.

The academic building has been adequately equipped to accommodate lecture theatres, dissection halls, laboratories and museums. Each department has been provided with computers and internet facilities including access to scanners, multimedia and other audio-visual aids.
